2009 Cheerleading Registration
Registration for the 2009 season is underway. Returning cheerleaders have already received a registration packet. Registration forms and deposits are due by April 1, 2009. All open spots that remain after April 1 will be filled at open registration.
If you are over age 6 and interested in registering for cheerleading for the 2009 season, you will need to attend an open registration session to register in person. See the home page for registration dates and locations.
**Note** If you are a returning cheerleader and did NOT receive a registration packet, you may have outstanding obligations from the 2008 season (uniform, account balance, etc) please contact Martha Vadney to resolve and problems.
Sneaker Night/Paperwork Turn In
Sneaker nights/paperwork turn in nights for cheerleading will be held on Thursday, June 16th and Thursday, June 23rd at Sand Creek Middle School, in the cafeteria from 5:30-7:30pm.
At this time, the following is due:
-the balance of your registration fee
-raffle ticket money, if not already paid
-copy of your child's birth certificate (if a new cheerleader)
-copy of your child's June 2009 report card
-wallet sized head/shoulders picture of your child
-2-sided medical form completed by your physician
-signed parent consent form
All forms are available for download on our web site. Cheerleaders cannot begin practice until all forms have been turned in and account balances have been paid

NCA Cheer Camp
Midget and Jr. Midget level cheerleaders are invited to attend NCA's 4 day/3 night overnight cheer camp at Russell Sage College in Troy.
The camp runs from 7/7 - 7/10/2009 at a cost of $277, which includes all meals and lodging in the dorms. There is also at $23 charge for team t-shirts to wear at camp.
Payments can be made in 4 installments of $75, due on the 15th of March, April, May, and June. Also the fee is payable by credit card to NCA. For more info please contact Martha Vadney. (email)
CYC Cheer Camp
The popular CYC Summer Cheer camp for ALL AGE LEVELS will be held this year from 7/13 - 7/17/2009, 8:30am-4:30pm each day. This program is staffed by CPW staff and Jr. Coaches. Mornings are spent doing cheer, dance, games, and gymnastics. Afternoons are spent at the Colonie Town Pool.
Registration is held through CYC and is listed in their "Summer Camps" brochure. Registration is limited to the first 100 registrants. As we usually fill this super-fun camp, do not hesitate to register.
You can register at www.colonieyouthcenter.org starting April 13th.
